Notes From Website

That time of year when the day seems to fade away. Drifting further into the darkness with each passing day. Volume 1 – Foreign Stout – Pours black with licorice, espresso bean, molasses, and black cardamom notes that give way to a feeling of self loathing, burnt opportunities and smoked relationships.

MY THOUGHTS
This is a darker beer with decent head and pretty nice foam. This beer had a really nice smell to it. Its sweet and nutty with even some earthiness. I feel like this beer just plain smells burly, but in a good way, like your old mans brut. It tastes a little dry but not so much that you don’t want to keep going on it. If you’re a dark beer fan I would give this one a shot.
