Imperial Pale Ale” font_weight=”700″]
BREWERY: Tröegs Brewing Company
STYLE: American IPA
ABV: 7.50%
IBUS: 85

Tröegs Brewing Company’s Perpetual IPA is a Imperial Pale Ale that has a nice citrus flavor and a sweet pale color to it that comes in at a stout 7.5%. There are definitely some spicy hops in there like they claim. Its’ a surprisingly good brew from a company out of Hershey PA that most people have not heard of.

I grabbed a growler of it from Consumer Beverages when I was in Niagara Falls and had no problem putting it down. It pours a clear golden color with a nice frothy head that clears up quick and leaves behind some beautiful foam. It has a very pronounced fruity flavor that tastes like it smells and goes down very smooth and than surprises you with good bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATE 1/31/19: R.F. McDougall’s currently has a rack of cans, get it while it’s hot.
