A great caddis emerger pattern for tannic water or when ties in any other color variety it will work well in all water types. Fished well surface or subsurface in all seasons when caddis are emerging. When I want to tie this fly to be fished on the surface I treat it with watershed or hydrostop, otherwise I just tie it as is. All flies purchased from the store will be treated.
